I am having issues at work with PC jumping around when trying to scroll up or down. Also the thread titles are truncated at first until all of the background ads seem to get loaded. Anyone else having this problem? I am not having this problem at the house or on iPad so figure it is a work system issue going though the firewalls, etc. I have Windows 7 and we are still on IE7 at work.
Actually sounds like a slow connection, either on your end or to/from this server. Unless they are playing with content control/filtering. It could also be monitoring software.
I am suffering with a slow internet connection right now and trying to deal with our corporate IT folks. They also have all kinds of control/filtering and monitoring software between the corporate servers and our local servers.
And in addition to that, the software in use here just does NOT get along well with Explorer, any version it seems.
It works fine with my Explorer at home. I had issues with IE11 so dropped back to IE10 and have no problems. It must be issues with my system at work.
Not a big deal, but I use two browsers on my computer. Internet Explorer and Firefox. With the Firefox I've noticed that if I go to edit a post? The box comes up blank with no text showing. Which means I have to log out and use Internet Explorer to edit, where the box will come up showing the text. Sometimes a pain....my computer is old...I suspect it's just aging versions and bugs in my computer.
I have to use Google Chrome on my Windows 7 PC for Prius Chat to work correctly. However, on my Surface Pro with IE11, I have no problems...
My IT group has just recently updated from IE7 to IE8. I was not having this problem with IE7 so it must be the IE8 version. They are always very slow and cautious with the updates. We also have all kinds of controls, filters, monitors, etc. that are controlled by corporate IT that there is no telling what is causing the problem. Like I said, it works find at home with Windows 7 and IE10 and also on my iPad.
That's similar to what happens to me with IE on replies. Try right clicking on "edit" and open it in a new tab or window and see if it works better.......if you can do that with Fox, that is.
I get that also with my FireFox. When you have that blank page, there's a button named "More Options". Click it.
