Seat recline spring back

    2012 Prius v, purchased used 2 weeks ago. When sitting in the seat, and trying to get it to return to a 'higher' position, it does not want to.
    Tried when not sitting in the seats, and it comes up, but not the last 2 positions. A little nudge from behind is needed.
    I was going to mention it to Toyota, in my 'ùnder warranty for 30 day' report.

    It is different than some cars that actively try and crush you into a panini when you pull that handle, and that is OK with me...

    my wife kept pulling up on the seat height adjuster, and asking me why the seat back wasn't moving.

    You have to make sure you're not sitting slightly on the bottom of the seat back for it to return.

    The test is does the seat-back return when no one is sitting in the seat. My guess (for reason noted above) is yes.

    i think you're right.but it's hard to get my rump roast that far forward.:oops:
