I'm taking off for a trip. Rancho la Puerta, in Tecate, Mexico. Hiking in the desert is the big draw for me, but there's also fitness classes, a gym, amazing food, and cooking classes. I probably won't have pictures. The desert is amazing, but it's hard to capture it in a picture without a better camera and more photographic skill than I have. My little point-and-shoot doesn't hack it for wide vistas and grand expanses. I'll have access to internet for email, but probably won't take the time to post, especially since I'll be using the iTouch for email, and I'll be keeping busy, and I'll have to go to the lounge for internet access. I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
Have a good trip, Daniel. If you can, take a short walk at night, away from the lights of the buildings. The desert night sky is amazing. What about getting a better camera? And taking some classes?
Have a great time and make certain to remain hydrated in the desert environment. I believe they stock just what you need ... ... Tecate and SPF 30+. Its already warm and sunny in the southwest.
Have fun. Post something on the Road Trip thread (yeah I know it's on the Gen III forum, but Gen II RT's are cool too.
