I would happily pay any hypermiler guru in the Seattle area who will spend an hour or so with me some weekend soon demonstrating the finer points of pulse-and-glide and other important techniques. Though I've been avidly reading many threads on this site, I'm sure it's easier to learn through demonstration. I am eager to get the most out of this extraordinary vehicle. I live on South Whidbey Island and just bought a 2011 Prius Five. And you'll get to drive it!
Have you seen the Max MPG Driving Techniques video? I found it helpful. I agree that it's easier to understand when it's demonstrated or otherwise illustrated.
