Sensor conflict with bike rack on Gen V?

    Does anyone know whether a bike rack would trigger sensors and if so, if they can be defeated. My brother’s Lexus required digging through setup menus EACH time the car was started to disable sensors.

    I know technically Toyota doesn’t recommend a bike rack, but also know plenty have added them on prior generation models. I just don’t want to spend the $ and have it be a struggle to drive the car. Thx, Fred

    Isn't there a "<<<P" button that can turn off the parking sensors on the centre console?

    Thanks, I was worried about it also triggering sensors while driving, but perhaps not?
