I am considering wether it is worth paying dealer each service interval or I should try and do most of it myself. I have a danish 2007/2008 model and I know they differ in some areas from the US models. On the US techinfo site, you can get a month of access for a mere 75$. The european site is extremely pricey. Is there any way to get to this information without having to resort to selling body parts?
I searched an Australian auto book store and found a Haynes Manual ISBN: 1563926806 that sells for $62 in Australia and since we have the most expensive books in the world you must be able to find it cheaper. Toyota Prius Repair And Maintenance 2004 - 2008 (Workshop Manual) by Bentley ISBN: 9780837615530 is about $135. At seems that the Bentley manual goes into a lot more detail and might suit you if you want to do everything yourself (with the appropriate tools). In a related question, are there any workshop service manuals for the Gen III 2009- model at all? I can't even find any on amazon. UPDATE: Amazon.com has the Haynes for USD 17.79 and the Bentley for USD 44.07.
