I was wondering if anyone has found any useful commands to use on SGII. I'm speaking specifically about the hexadecimal commands that you enter into the scanguage memory locations. Both command strings and result decodes would be interesting.

Doubt I'd be brave enough to use any, but would interested in a command to decode the ECU firmware revision or other cool stuff like that.

    Anybody figure this out yet?

Edit: I did find the emissions test commands here:

I posted the same question earlier in the week...no replies. I guess no one has gotten to this level yet. I was mostly curious about whether the function could be used to set some of the customizable parameters related to the A/C, lighting, etc.

Found another forum I'm gonna post to if this dries up:

Scantool.net. They do ODBII software. One question was already answered on thier forums. Basically to actually WRITE to ECU memory, you need the Toyota password, which is supposed to stay a trade secret.

In all likelyhood the ODBII is just used to interface with the emmissions stuff. Any serious ECU work probably plugs into an as yet undisclosed location.

I think an ODBII forum will probably be where this stuff is ultimately stored... or of course the CANView author. Is he on these forums?
