When the ICE is off (RPM=0) I get a reading of 5 ??? What ignition property is this reading, degrees before TDC? it seems to run into the 30's under heavy load. Anyone figure this out yet? I know Wayne likes to set this at 14 for best mpg and then pulses from 18 to 5 from reading other posts. Maybe 5 is some default reading ???? Thanks. Ted

FWIW, on the 2nd gen, when the ICE shuts down, IGN is also 5.

yes found an old post which I can not just paste here for some reason. 5 is ICE off, 10 is idle, 13-18 are good mileage settings, >18 is lots of fuel use. Wayne's post had him operating p&g 18 to 14 for good mpg. Unclear what the numbers mean. Maybe half degrees before TDC, no one seems to know ????
