Hello all ! First of all i am sorry if i have a bad english. I am new to this forum and i couldn't find anything regarding to this problem. I have an Auris hsd from 2011(same engine like prius 3)with 108k km and recently i saw that somethimes when i put car in reverse or drive,it make a small shake and a small sound from engine area like a rubber hit . Can somebody help me please with a response? Thank you !
welcome! please tell us some history of the car, how long have you owned it, and when did the shake begin?
I bought the car 4 months ago but recently i had a 2000 km trip. Strange is that it happens only sometimes .
Reverse drive is entirely electric, gas motor not involved at all...it may be idling to warm up, but not involved in moving the car in reverse.
I did almost 7000 km but only short distances but before those 2000km was ok only after this 2000km trip started to do.
watch the hybrid battery icon, and keep note of the level when it happens. see if there is a trend between a certain charge level and the intermittent shaking
Now it is happening everytime. It sound like a pinion which is releasing violent when i put in drive or reverse. Has somebody an ideea about this ?
