Well, there's a whole bunch of new information that I have to store and categorize and remember. Thanks for further complicating my life!

Actually, some of that can be either enlightening or scary.

Great information and perspective.

Nintendo spend more on R&D than US government in education. Just wow!

NO!

It said:

“Nintendo invested more than $140 million in research and development in 2002 alone.â€
AND
“The U.S. federal government spent less than half as much on research and innovation in education.â€

NOT:
That is not the same as "how much the U.S. federal government spends on education."

BIG DIFFERENCE!

So, just how much should the US federal government spend on "research" and "innovation" "in education"?

Also subject to perspective misjudgment:

Did you know:

“China will soon become the number one English speaking country in the world†. . .
- Yes, by supplanting India.

“The 25 percent of the population in China with the highest I.Q.s is higher than the total population of North Americaâ€
. . .
- but they also have the baggage of that 25 percent of the population with the lowest I.Q.s . . . which is also larger than the total population of North America. [that's a lot of tard!] ;)

"Translation for Teachers: They have more honors kids than we have kids."

- That may be true, but the author didn't take into account places like [The Peoples' Republic of] Davis, California . . . where 90 percent of their students are above average and honors students.
