I am a new Prius owner and have been using the voice command feature for the past week or so. Is there a way to shut off the prompt that says "After the beep, speak your command?" It would be faster to just hear the beep. I already know that I need to wait until after the beep. Is this possible? Thanks Eric

That's what I was going to suggest, but don't forget, that causes the chick to quit giving directions on the GPS as well.

There are several vioce on/off settings and when you find the right one, only the prompting for voice input is eliminated. This is for NAV, audio, and climate voice commands. The phone stuff doesn't participate in this setpoint, so the many irritating voice prompts for phone remain once you start a phone dialog. The label for what you are looking for is odd and not well explained in the manual, so try them one at a time if it is not obvious to you. - Tom
