Where do the side curtain airbags deploy from in the 2015 model? I see some plastic trim between the side and front windows that say "SRS curtain airbag". Does the airbag pop out from behind this? The reason I ask is because I have a soft rooftop carrier for a one-time trip. Since I don't have roof rails, I need to run straps through the interior of the car to hold the carrier in place. I want to make sure the straps don't interfere with the airbags. I found a thread on PriusChat discussing this situation, but it applied to an older model. In the 2015 model I don't see how the straps will interfere with the airbag if it deploys from behind the plastic trim mentioned above.
The owners manual for the 2012 has two fairly detailed pictures showing the airbag locations. I do not know about yours....
