I have a question for someone, does any one else have problems with their Sirius reception around "stuff". Mine will cut out around trees, stop signs tall people. Is there a updated antenna? Reprogram?
This is a _very_ common problem - seems the sat antenna is just not up to the task. Perhaps when new it worked better? The easiest/best "fix" appears to be splicing in a replacement generic antenna - see this thread: Improving XM Satellite Radio Reception | PriusChat I haven't done this mod - yet - because in the open I have no problems & I do not like having a mag-mount on the vehicle. I don't remember if anyone found an adapter for the replacement antenna connector, which left splicing the very small coax as the only option.
