if anyone ran an antenna for a standard Sirius or XM car kit (not installed) please let me know where you put it. It will be a while before I upgrade the HU (if ever) and I'm actually happy with the car adapter kit. The cable to the 1/8" input in the storage bin runs hidden into the front without affecting the closing of the top and the tuner dock sits nicely in the storage area under the console. Right now I have the antenna on a no slip pad on the dash and would like to better disguise it.
