Saw one in Califorinia Saw a light blue Prius PHV Plug-In Friday 05/20/11 in Huntington Beach, CA. It had a big decal on the back read something like: Prius Electric Hybrid & a picture of an extension cord. I believe it was being driven by one of our local electric company employee. Cool, but not for me.
It's one of the cars being used for the Plug In Prius demo program. Some users here got a chance to drive one for a week last year. While not for everyone, it would be great for some. And the light blue color was a unique color to only the demo vehicles being driven around right now. It may be offered down the road, but it's not an available Prius color as of now in the states.
I was sitting when I first sawed one two. Kidding aside - did it look like this? That's the one I was driving a while back, in our parking structure at work. Sure would make more sense to have the charge port in the front, imo.
