The Tesla Roadster, which is said to get well over 200 miles on a battery charge, must then carry a rather large battery pack. Just how large? What boggles my mind the most is trying to figure out just where they hide this coffin-sized battery in a sports car! Clearly, they've done it. But it seems counter-intuitive. I guess I could almost fit it into my Prius if I put the back seats down and sort of wedged it in through the hatch.

IIRC, it starts about where the coolant tank while the wider black plastic part closer to the trunk is the electronics. This is from (possibly faulty) memory when I stumbled across the Tesla showroom in Seattle on a weekend listening to the salesman...
