So here's the problem... I'm two weeks into this Prius thing... Still getting familiar with the car. Walking the halls at work I notice the SKS FOB rattles with every step... Stuff like that drives me crazy. Anyways... With an orthodontic band as a gasket and a steady hand the key has fallen silent. I think I read in another thread... Without pics it didn't happen... Enjoy!
I didnt know they rattled. Mine doesnt. At least I have never heard it, and its in my pocket everywhere I go.
Since we're talking about rattles and vibrations, something that was driving me nuts was the way my thermal mug would vibrate and rattle against the hard plastic bottom of the cup holder. I solved that problem by cutting out some hobby foam sheet and lining the bottom of the cupholders with it: Now they are vibration free and the foam sheet even silences when you place the cup into the cupholder after taking a slug of coffee.
My keyfob does not rattle BUT I *Thought* I heard a rattle in my brand new car a few days ago. It might have been my imagination though. ;o)
