I just bought a 2012 Prius V wagon and the tires are meh. My vehicle that I'm about to sell is a 2002 Matrix and I have 2 sets of good tires but they are 2% smaller. I figure it's ok to use the tires from my matrix. I plan to use the summer tires with nice rims from my matrix 205 55 r16 instead of the 205 60 r16 that are on the vehicle. I will mount my winter tires from my matrix on which are also 205 55 r16 on the rims that came with the Prius and put the tires that came with the Prius on my cheap rims and sell them with the Matrix. Tell me why I shouldn't or if you think its ok. I'm so stoked to have a Prius, I used to drive them when I drove taxi and thought they were great. Not as great as the hybrid Highlander but great.
No big deal on ABS or TC assuming all four tires, just requires you to realize the impact on displayed MPH.
Make sure you clean the entire egr system. Or you will have a blown head gasket for sure. Inverter updates? How many miles on it?
