I was cleaning the cabin when found this little cap in the floor on driver's side, anyone knows where it goes?, doesnt seem to fit anywhere inside the car, thanks in advance
That style cap is designed to push onto a threaded stud, like a threaded nut The gen 2 prius has a plastic storage area in the trunk, on the driverside. The center of the plastic storage insert has a resessed hole in the center, which is placed over a threaded stud on the floor. This locates the plastic in the correct orientation. Then a very similar plastic nut is pushed onto the threads of the stud to lock the plastic piece in place.. Does the C have any plastic storage areas that may have a similar setup?
I found the same plastic cap on my Prius C floor, kept it in the center storage compartment for two years before I finally found where it belongs. The plastic cap goes on a screw on the lower dashboard to hold the panel in place, lower left of the steering wheel near the hood release lever,
It holds the bottom of the kick panel to the stud welded to the side of the bottom on each side of the car.
