Small cutout under main display?

    I noticed there's a small rectangle on the dash, under the main information display where the circular display comes up when the steering wheel buttons are pressed. Does anyone know what it's for?

    Mirrors for the display. Used to project the image on the display screen.

    That's where the display projector is located.

    Be sure not to put anything on top of it or it will block the display:)
