For Prius owners in the UK Aldi supper markets are selling a smart charger ideal for the Prius 12 volt battery "while stocks last" for just under £13 ($20). A real bargain guaranteed for three years. The charger is fully protected from reverse polarity connection and self switches to maintenance charging once the battery is fully charged. It will charge 6 and 12 volt batteries from 1.2 to 120 AH "separate program for batteries under 14 AH" with a maximum regulated charge rate of 3.8 amps, and is AGM and gell compatible.
