I had a ~16" bar left over from a VW but notice the 19mm socket doesn't fit the Prius or the wife's Avalon either.
Not everyone has a 1/2 inch drive socket set. But, most all have a 3/8 inch drive one. In older cars made before 1960, larger head bolts were more common. Where 3/8 inch bolts with 9/16 hexes were common before 1960, 5/16 inch bolt with 1/2 inch hexes are now the norm. M8 bolts are now the most commen in import cars. Japanese cars have M8 bolts with J.I.S. 12mm hex heads being the most widely used.
Yes, a 21mm works just fine with a 1/2" breaker bar on the Prius V three and wife's Avalon. Now that I have it and pay the weight penalty for carrying it I'll never have to use it.
My personal favorite is a special 3/4 inch nominal schedule 80 pipe with a cushioned grip handle that weighs 15 ounce and is 15 inches long. It works perfectly with the OEM lug nut wrench. I offered to make them for Priuschat members, but I've had no takers.
