Someone to install rear view mirror?

    I want to replace my rear view mirror with one that has a compass. I have the mirror but need help installing it.

    Can anyone recommend someone in the Los Angeles area that can do this...and not charge an arm and a leg?? :D

    I'm also interestred in installing a rear view auto-dimming compass mirror. Have you or anyone completed this project? Is there an electical connection near the mirror? Best brand for this application? :unsure:

    I've seen that the big worry (and this was about installing a Homelink mirror) is that you can't run the wiring up through the normal way because of the airbags. You may have to run the wires around the glass.

    If I didn't have the Homelink mirror, I'd do something like that, but it would be the rear camera mirror.
