My Prius came with factory fitted 17inch wheels complete with low profile tyres. Instead of a spare wheel I have a compressor repair unit. Does anyone know if there is a space saver wheel i can get and will fit in the spare wheel space? Not very keen on this complicated repair kit.
If you can chase down a 15" Prius spare from a wreckers it will serve. The total diameter, i.e. with rim plus tyre, of the 17" is slightly less than the 15" tyre.
Ours has the 17" tires, and the temp spare. As far as I know there's nothing special about the spare, ie: it's the same as spare that comes with 15" tire models.
Yes. I have done some research and found: Prius takes a 195/65 R15 tyre Prius i-Tech 215/45 R17 tyre Space saver T135/80/16R tyre They all have the same outside diameter. Now all I have to do is find one
