Speaker Upgrades, any suggestions??

    I am looking and considering a 2010 3 without the JBL sound system. It has most everything else I need/want other than the upgraded stereo. Does anyone have any suggestions for changing out the stock speakers? How hard is it to do? I just want a good balanced, quality sound. Not really looking for slamming bass or anything just a good quality sound. Thoughts??

    Lot of info here, but can you clarify? The 2010 Prius 3 only came equipped with the JBL, Navigation was the upgrade. Did you mean 2010 Prius 2?

    Frodoz, I'm guessing that it's a package 2 on a gen 3.

    If this is true "clokwise", your speaker only upgrade will be easy. Many albums, posts and of course Spidermans sticky to help you. Basics would be coax in rear, 2 or 3 piece components in the front with cross-overs easily mounted under the front kick or door panels. System in my Album is more than you want, but have good pics like drew935 to give some ideas. See factory info below as it applies to the 2010 Prius II Base System to assist. Good luck and ask questions. There are some good folks here.
