does anybody know what these small vents near the sunglasses holder are for? Do all 2nd gen Prius have these? As far as I know, my car does not have Bluetooth Did it at one time? Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated... Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
It is for Bluetooth but I suspect Toyota just used the same part regardless of whether there are mics behind the grille for the Bluetooth phone system.
Yup. Universal part. Notice there's also a grille on the "passenger" side. Except in Japan, UK, etc. that's the driver side, so the mic goes over there. I managed to get the mic that came with my (non-Prius) BluLogic Bluetooth kit up in there, but it involved some cutting and gobs of hot glue.
