Somehow got a nice 2" rather deep scratch on the spoiler. Should I just use touch-up paint. How best to prepare the surface? Help!
Without seeing the scratch, it is hard to say. Touchup paint is probably your best option. You shouldn't have to do much preparation, other than making sure it is completely clean and free of any residue. The spoiler itself is $300, plus paint and install. Install is not that hard, unless the mounting holes got bent. I know this from personal experience of cracking it while exiting my garage with the hatch open. Fortunately, that was the only damage.
