Saw a 2016 Hypersonic Red with 17" alloys on the way from the port of entry. It was being driven rather than on a flatbed. I don't know which dealer it's going to since the direction it's heading has 3 dealers (assuming the driver's taking the fastest route).
Sounds like it was being stolen, or taken for a joy ride. I can't imagine a new car being driven to the dealer.
Doubt it. It's usually a person from the dealership that goes there to pick it up so they were probably dropped off and one of the cars around it was his colleague. It still has all the wrappings on it (the white ones). It could be a demo car that they're bringing over and didn't want to send for a truck. Or maybe a vehicle to prep for launch day. Keep in mind that it's not officially on sale in Canada yet. We still have another month or two to go. Also, it's not like the port is super far from anything. It's not like California. The nearest dealer he's could be driving to is 12 miles from the Port.
I would be bothered if some dock worker is driving new cars to the dealer, who knows how they are driving it, redline and hard braking?
