Just recently the steering wheel has been starting to make a low squeaking noise when steering. At the moment its not too noticeable because of all the other sounds coming from the car, but I dont want it to turn into a loud noise or be a symptom of an emerging fault. My car is dated July 2017 and has 62k miles on clock, Prius gen 3 business edition plus. Its been serviced regularly every 12 months and is next due this November., I havent had any issues with the car so far. Its not low power steering fluid as I originally thought as it seems the prius doesnt use power steering fluid! Does anyone have any experience with this issue, is it something I can fix myself without asking garage for a repair.
