Squealing Sound when starting car

    I have a 2007 Prius, which I've had for about 6 months. I love the care, but for the past week, when I first start (or boot up) the car after it has sit for several hours, there is a noise that comes from the drivers side front under the hood that sounds like a motor bearings are going. Any ideas?

    It is probably the coolant transfer pump. It can get quite noisy at times (but never when I have the car in for service).
