First time posting here. I'm hoping someone will be able to give good advice. I recently purchased a 2010 Prius from an auction. 27k miles. Excellent condition inside. The car was in a minor front end collision. Airbags did not deploy. I've managed to clear all the other codes but the 7 codes from the SRS center module have me stumped. The codes are as follows:
    1. 1801 - Open in Driver Side Squib
    2. 1806 - Open in Passenger Side Squib
    3. 1811 - Open D(ual) Squib 2nd stage Circuit
    4. 1816 - Open in Front Passenger Squib 2nd step Circuit
    5. 1861 - Open in Driver Side Knee Airbag Squib Circuit
    6. 1901 - Open in P/T Squib RH
    7. 1906 - Open in P/T Squib LH

I kind of ruled out a clock spring because of the 1901 and 1906 codes. Those wires go directly to the ECU from under the front seats, without going thru the clock spring. Since the airbags did not deploy, the ecu does not need to be reset does it? Can the ECU itself be faulty? Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you for replying. The problem with the "trees" is that it is one code at a time. I'm thinking it is a larger issue than each individual code, since it appears to be only the squib circuits that are open.

I know there are some very knowledgeable members here and thought I might get lucky to find some answers here. So, the search continues. Thanks again for your reply.

With all of those "open" troubles, what is the chance a connector (common to all the airbag circuits) is not connected?
