Steering wheel trim cleanup

    Does anyone know if this silver trim piece is removable? I’d like to repaint it.

    If you’re going to remove it anyway to replace it, why not just repaint it then reinstall it?

    That’s the plan. My question is, is it removable.

    Probably remove airbag first, allows accessing clip or screw holding trim in place. Approx 2 minutes in. Disconnect battery to make sure you don't trigger air bag.
