It looks to me like the Gen 4 subforum has quite a lot of threads stickied, that either could be moved to the subforums, or don't actually need to be stickied. This makes it somewhat annoying to scroll past the stickies when directly visiting the subforum, and I doubt all of the stickies are actually being read by most people. Could things be cleaned up?
they could, but unfortunately, they never are. just look at gen 1 prius plug in stickies. the last one is tyres, and doesn't have any posts, but instead of deleting it, is was simply locked, and left there to clog up the page. and this from mods who yell at you and merge them if you make two posts in a row.
I'd like to second that. Before I bought the car yesterday I came here, looked at the forum, thought "that's the most stickies I've ever seen" then went to Reddit to get my info. I'm only back here because someone there told me to come back.
