Hi all, new to the forum, just bought a 2011 Prius. I noticed there is plenty of space under the two front seats for a shallow sub install. I'm going to design a set of enclosures that will house a shallow 12" sub like the Stereo Integrity BM mkiv. Anyone already try to do this? Would anyone be interested in an enclosure? Maybe I can have a few of them made.
The upgrade JBL system utilizes the space under the passenger seat for the amplifier so in a way Toyota has all ready "tried this". Probably not an issue for you but keep in mind that there are heater ducts under the seats. I was going to install a powered sub under the passenger seat but instead installed in the trunk under the floor. Works wonderfully.
