For the past year or so, my older Mac has suffered random failures and screen scrambles. Something was randomly smashing memory. Then a couple of weeks ago, Adobe flash began reporting "Unable to play video on older software" and I finally have some relief. It has also reduced the amount of delays and 'things that go boink.' I suspect there was period of time when a new Adobe format was being used and the 'version' mechanism that would stop them from playing was 'broke.' Older flash video plays fine but the new stuff that apparently was also a core-smasher, 'self deports.' Bob Wilson
