Summer Heat and the Hybrid Battery

    Will it harm my Hybrid Battery to leave my 2011 Prius in the Garage in Phoenix from May to September? I will have a trickle charger on the 12 volt battery.

    No. Just to be safe, drive til the battery is charged up to the 6th bar then put it on hiatus.

    they don't like to sit, so it will likely shorten the life. the hotter it is in the garage, the shorter the life will be.

    you're already8 years old, failure may be right around the corner.
