Sunroof Windguard; Anyone replaced one themselves?

My stupid glass wind guard shattered! It was going to be $800 to fix because the part is expensive ($600+!!) I got lucky and was able to get a recycled one from a wrecking yard. I was quoted $95 to install it, but it looks not too much harder than installing a windshield wiper... Had anyone done it? Would it be foolish to try? It looks like it just a matter of removing some and sliding the new one on.
