Okay, this may be silly but I got to ask. Does the Prius Prime or any Prius in that matter have or ever had a sunroof? I'm not taking about having the dealership or some other shop put one in. Although my last car ( 2012 Chevy Sonic) didn't have one, it was optional later that model year. Although I never looked I don't remember if there was an optional sunroof option on my Prius "Prime" Thanks for reading my ramblings. Trevor
Some of the 4th Prius levels have sunroof, not the Prime though, if I'm not mistaken. Log onto Toyota USA website, go to the specifications Tab, and all the mystery will be dispelled. You can also download pdf versions of the brochure, maybe a little easier to read.
The JDM Prius PHV/Prime is available with a sunroof I believe. Not sure about other availability in other countries. US versions of the prime do not offer the sunroof.
2010-2015 had solar moonroofs - the front half of the roof was a moonroof (and slide above the roof) and the rear half was a solar panel that ran the fan while parked to vent out the hot air and lower the interior temperature. 2016+ Prius (Liftback) have a regular moonroof that slides into the roof. Prime/PiP did not have moonroof options. (But the Prime elsewhere in the world has a full length solar panel roof option for charging the hybrid battery)
