I've always felt that nearly subconsciously, The Super Bowl was nations first "Holiday" after the holidays. About a month after the "Holidays" and nobody is up for anything too taxing from a gift or celebratory manner. In other words, we don't want another Christmas. But things are starting to get boring. Enter...The Super Bowl. Hey, we're a little tired and burned out from the holidays, BUT we can grab some chips, dips, maybe a little buffet and get together to watch the big game. No gifts expected. It's always on a Sunday, so you never have to miss work. So anyway, enjoy the NFL's gift to America. The first "Holiday" after the holidays.
