Date ordered: 07-12-06 Dealer: Jim Barkley Toyota, Asheville, NC Timeframe: 4-12 weeks Color: No Pref Option package: Pref #1 or #2 My wife and I have been talking for a while about getting a Prius. We decided to get "on the list" two days ago (wed 7/12). We had no real strong preferences for colors or options; we just couldn't afford it to be too high-end (given our salaries as teachers). The dealer said 4-12 weeks, depending upon delivery, availability, etc. That was Wed. Yesterday, a day later, we get a call - a white Package #1 would be available 7/17 - we were the first to return the dealer's call, and what-do-you-know, so much for the 2-3 month wait - we are scheduled to pick it up Monday!!! I'm glad to have found PriusChat and to be able to read how happy most folks are with their Priuses (or would that be Prii?). Anxiously waiting in Asheville . . .
Awesome! You will love it. I am just across the mountains in Tennessee. I picked mine up last week and am very happy with the car. I look for excuses to drive.
