Thanks to Buick Verano hybrid coming in 2015?, I didn't know that a company called SupplierBusiness puts out documents like the PDF featured there. For those who haven't visited auto shows like Tokyo Motor Show (or worked in the automotive industry), one might not realize that virtually all automakers depend on MANY suppliers to provide them parts. (I posted a little about this at http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-h...t-down-plants-in-n-america-2.html#post1300729.) I ended up Googling for supplierbusiness suppliers to toyota filetypedf and stumbled across http://stage.autonews.com/assets/PDF/CA7496988.PDF which is the PDF for the 2012 Camry. One might find it interesting. I probably only have heard of less than 1/5 of the companies there, and some I didn't realize even made auto parts like ThyssenKrupp. The ones that I'd heard of or came to mind for me are Denso (strangely missing, but I'm sure Denso supplies a ton of parts that go into a Camry), Federal Mogul, TRW, KYB, Eaton, Yazaki, Hitachi, Magna, and CTS. Here's are some others I found: http://www.autonews.com/assets/PDF/CA67178107.PDF - Nissan Cube http://www.autonews.com/assets/PDF/CA46548521.PDF - Nissan Altima http://www.autonews.com/assets/PDF/CA71006914.PDF - Lexus RX 350 http://stage.autonews.com/assets/PDF/CA7488982.PDF - Honda Odyssey Calsonic is a major supplier to Nissan. Jatco seems to be their sole supplier of CVTs. Feel free to discuss suppliers or post other interesting SupplierBusiness PDFs you find...
