I am a new owner of a 2015 Prius. I have a commute that’s just over an hour each way. I have Neck issues that necessitate propping my elbows/arms while driving. As much as I love my car, it’s increasing my pain levels. Has anyone added a cushion to the armrests on the door and console? Without it looking horrible? Thank you. iPad ?
i would buy some foam, and forego the aesthetics. prius is uncomfortable at best, for those without issues. all the best!
You mean like this? Had some 4” upholstery foam and shaped it with a little bench belt sander. Went to a fabric shop and picked out some material that was close to the interior fabric. Took it to the upholstery shop and had it covered. Used stick on Velcro to attach it to the trim panel. I think is cost me $20 for labor. Materials were minimal.
I always had trouble with the steering wheel being too far away on the Gen 2 but the Gen 4 telescopes and is much better.
That’s a great idea and what I need. Thank you. I am crafty and can make something like that. I wonder if Command strips would hold something in place? Any ideas for the console? iPad ?
