I have gen 3 Prius that is on coilovers. Every time I hit a hard bump I hear a loud clunk in the rear of the car. I checked all the nuts and bolts and they are all right. The torque of the tires are also good. Suspension is only 4 months old. Any idea what it could be. Could it be the rear axel bushings.
I have a 17 prime, it bottoms out the shocks front and rear regularly, cause, inadequate struts, cure, well on the gen3 koni offers an OEM fit aftermarket shock, or KYB. It's a penny wise pound foolish scenario on Toyotas behalf.
