Can I swap left-right seats in my 2013 Prius? The driver seat is quite worn in a spot (on the left side back support) Seats usually wear more where you rub against them when you enter/exit the car, so swapping left-right sounds logical But I wonder how difficult (if possible) it would be....
I don't believe you can swap seats, the recliner is on the sides and the seat wiring plug will be different on each side. My Prius 4 driver side seat is electronically controlled when setting the seat positions, my passenger seat recliner are all manually controlled.
Here's the airbag system on my 2013 PiP. Yours may be a little different. Also, note the seat adjustment controls as previously mentioned. And the mounting bolt pattern may not be symmetrical.
Among other things, yes. Check your owner's manual. If you get the pdf version on line, you can just search for "air bag." That's what I did. But you also probably can't get to the seat controls if they're jammed against the center console.
Ah! That may be different. Not sure if that's symmetrical. But you'd still have the air bag issue if yours are like mine.
