   has anyone had any experience with this hybrid scanner?
   Unlike Linear Logic's ScangaugeII this tool requires a laptop running Windows XP or Windows 7 to work.

   Looks like an Android tablet or phone/device can also be used.
   
   Looks like it has a nice GUI, but other than the Android app compatibility, the Techstream and Mongoose cable is proven.
