This must be a solved issue. I have not yet located the definative solution in a serch these forums. Any help would be appreciated. I have been experiencing poor/intermittant electrical connection in the tail lights of my 2004 Prius (105K). Last night a friend followed me home and pointed out that both were out. I jiggled the socket/wires and they can back on. This is just the last incident, I have also had to replace the right tail light a couple of times in the last 5 years. I know many others have reported this problem in these forums, and the related issue of the short servcie life of these bulbs. I have not found a discussion of the root cause of the problem. If I had to guess I would say a bad crimp in the socket. With all the brain power here, I figure some would have isolated the probelm(s). Thanks in advance.
