Hello, my 2012’s third breaking light starting doing this at random. It would dim occasionally like the shown pictures. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks
Check the connections, loose or corroding? How did you come to notice this, doing a light check? That's commendable.
If the other break lights don’t do it, probably the cable has broken isolation and gets 12V or ground - I don’t know by heart which one is switched.
Since it looks like one element goes out completely when it does that, there may be a defect in the "light bar" itself.
