I've always liked the look of my fellow compatriot and GT club member bino's old genII. Inspired by what he did, I modded mine in my own little way. Now instead of putting tinted film to the tail lights, I actually decided to have it spray tinted by experts so that I don't mess it up. I have spare stock tail lights anyway in the garage in case I need to bring them back to the stock look. Before: After: With park lights, brake, and hazard on
i didn't know there were pros that do that. i'd like to do that to mine, no idea where to find it. looks cool.
It's this guy who runs this business -- Red wall Tyres - White wall Tyres Redwall Whitewall Colourwall Tyres - All colour rubber paint available - Sydney Wollongong It's just red dye without the paint component. He puts it in a spray can and you can spray away layer by layer till you get the desired result. I'll ask him if he can ship abroad. In a month, he said he'll market spray on vinyl paints as well. Looks awesome on the samples he showed me.
Looks really nice. It's one of the near future mods I want to do. I bought the film, hope mine turns out as well as your looks! +1
it used to be the clear lights were the aftermarket, now the aftermarket makes dyes to colour clear stock lights, I'd like to have mine bodycolour or a slight hint, and the car is not amber nor red, I also considered something simmilar with the headlights they have a hint of blue allready, wouldnt mind making it more obvious, yet if there would be a way to do all that while not pissing off the law.
