I was at the gas station the other day, and a guy driving a Subaru says to me "I thought those "things" don't take gas." I told him "Yes, they do, but only once a month." He laughed and asked me how I liked my Prius. Anybody had a similar experience???
I took mine through the car wash one day and the guy who was drying it put his ear down on the hood to see if it was running, it wasn't.

No weird reactions to the Prius so far, but back when I drove my Echo, several times people asked me how I liked my hybrid. I had to explain that it wasn't one, it only looked like one.
