Federal tax credits for Toyota non-EVs and non-plugin hybrids ended September 30, 2007 per Federal Tax Credits for Hybrids and for all hybrids 12/31/10.
Just my luck......almost exactly one year too late. I'll just have to content myself with getting about 3 times the mileage that I was getting with the gas hog I've been driving.
For the Federal tax credit, you're more than 4 years too late. Toyota sells the most qualifying hybrids (clock started counting 1/1/06) and thus reached their phaseout period first. The phaseout period then cut the tax credit in by halves, over time and became after September 30, 2007. I got mine in January 06 and thus got the full $3150 tax credit.
